Dear Parents/Guardians
At approximately 2 pm p.m., the plumbing system in the school backed up requiring the District Maintenance department to close all of the washroom facilities in the school. Consequently, the school administration released all the students 30 minutes earlier than usual as it was not appropriate to keep students in school when washroom facilities were not functioning. Staff were available to supervise students until the regular end of the day. The District apologizes for any inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding as the District and school worked together to remedy the situation. The problem has now been resolved, and affected areas are being cleaned and disinfected by a restoration company.
The school play is on for this evening, and school is open as usual for classes tomorrow.
